Research Project on the ADA and Health Care Access

The Northwest ADA Center is conducting research on health care access for people with disabilities within the northwest region (WA, OR, ID, AK) that aims to address the following questions:

  • What are the facilitators and barriers to accessing health care for people with disabilities?

  • What are the best practices and policies that result in reduced barriers to health care for people with disabilities?

The research project involves three stages that take place between 2016 and 2020.
